History
Improvisational technology has been the hallmark of Rado’s progress. Initiating the use of hardmetal, lanthanum, ceramic and sapphire crystal for the crafting of watch bodies, the brand became a byname for innovation. In 1962, they had launched the DiaStar range, which consisted of the world’s first ever scratch proof watches.  The line continues to be popular even today. In 2004, the company added another feather to its cap by manufacturing the V10K, with the Guinness Book of World Records certifying it is the hardest watch in the world.

Design
A bold design from the Original collection for men, the watch has a large circular black dial, enclosed within a yellow gold tone PVD coated stainless steel case. Gold toned stick hour indices and watch hands contrast against the muted brilliance of the dial. Luminescent markers enable the time to be seen even in darkness. Scratch proof sapphire crystal protects the dial against damage. The smart bracelet is made up of gold toned PVD coated stainless steel. Light weight and flexible, it encloses the wearer’s wrist in a comfortable fit.

Features
Laden with features, the watch has three sub-dials built into the dial. The sub-dial at the 3 o’ clock position records 1/10th of a second, the one at the 6 o’ clock records small seconds, and a 12 hour display counter occurs at the 9 o’ clock position. A date window occurs at the 4 o’ clock position, enabling the user to remain updated on date as well as time. Quartz technology helps provide accurate updates. The watch is also endowed with the feature of water resistance till 30 meters underwater.
