| Editor's Note | Laurent Ferrier’s Classic Origin White introduced to celebrate their tenth anniversary is a modern interpretation of their design ethos. This timepiece is housed within a 40mm Grade 5 titanium case with silvery-white opaline dial as the centrepiece, featuring four drop-shaped indices in 18k white gold. Its understated design is balanced by elegant baton-shaped hands, ensuring clarity and sophistication. At six o’clock, a small seconds counter offers an additional layer of functionality while maintaining the harmonious symmetry of the watch face. Powered by the manually wound calibre LF 116.01, the watch offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours. This movement, decorated with exquisite Côtes de Genève and perlage, is visible through the sapphire caseback, exemplifying the artistry of haute horology. Completing the timepiece is a light brown Alcantara strap, adding a tactile, modern contrast to the titanium case. |
