| Editor's Note | On the heels of two successful Jacob & Co. India editions, the brand have released a new Epic X Wonders of India for 2024. Available in titanium—limited to 11 pieces only in four colour variants— the Wonders of India watches bring the addition of the Ram Mandir to the skeletal make-up on the dial, where this spiritual edifice sits next to India Gate, the Taj Mahal, and the Qutub Minar. Lending some symmetry to the maze of mechanical inner workings are the two signature vertical bridges and the outer minute ring. The right bridge features 2D versions of four historic monuments from India. The 44mm case of this Jacob & Co. Monument edition watch is made from titanium, featuring an outer minute ring that adds colour to the timepiece. It comes with a rubber strap that matches the hue of the inner ring. Four X-shaped lugs connect the brushed and satin-polished bezel to the rubber strap, adorned with a hexagonal honeycomb pattern. The watch is powered by the JCAM45 calibre, offering a power reserve of 48 hours and equipped with 21 jewels. |
