| Editor's Note | Frederique Constant’s Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture represents a significant milestone for the Maison, housing their 31st in-house calibre – the FC-735. It’s their first movement to integrate a big date, power reserve, and moon phase within a single dial, offering both technical sophistication and aesthetic harmony. The 40mm stainless steel case frames a sunray-finished blue dial, where applied indexes provide crisp legibility. The big date display sits prominently between two and three o’clock, while a crescent arc between eight and ten o’clock marks the 50-hour power reserve, ending in a red warning zone. The moon phase at six o’clock brings a lyrical balance to the dial’s mechanical layout. Powered by an automatic manufacture movement beating at 28,800 vph, the watch is as precise as it is poised. |
